June 10, 2006 We Did It for the Craic “Craic”, pronounced “Crack” is an Irish word for fun. Anyone who is familiar with Dublin or even an Irish pub will know the term “craic agus ceol” meaning “music and fun”. A couple of months ago I received a phone call from a studio in L.A., asking if they could feature us on their show, “Dirty Jobs” with Mike Rowe. At first it did not seem like much of a fit with the work we are trying to do, but the producer assured me that the goal was not getting dirty, it was to show off the interesting work carried out by normal people.
